Working in conjunction with UNESCO World Heritage and other organizations, Skycatch has deployed a UAV mapping team to Nepal. This team will use Skycatch’s drone hardware and data processing platform to produce high-resolution 2D and 3D maps of sites to aid rescue and recovery efforts. Maps are available free online for all aid and government workers to use in efforts to assist.

Skycatch is making all data analysis functionality available for free to search and rescue personnel. E-mail relief@skycatch.com for access.

How you can help:

  • If you’re already on the ground in Nepal with a drone, use the WORKMODE system to quickly process and deliver your maps to aid personnel. Instructions are here.
  • 25 Certified WORKMODE Pilots have volunteered to join the effort, click here to join.
  • Donations: Please donate directly to the Red Cross or UN organizations that are coordinating the relief effort.
