Kinvey, Inc. is a mobile cloud backend as a service provider. Kinvey is a Backend as a Service (“BAAS”) platform that makes it easy for developers to set up and operate backends for their mobile, tablet and Web apps. Using Kinvey developers simply code their app using any Software Developer’s Kit of their choice. The Kinvey backend middleware and data layers sit across multiple cloud service providers (e.g. Rackspace, Amazon EC2 and Microsoft Azure.) The company has close to 1,600 developers using its service and recently launched the commercial beta version of the product.
