Sesame Street has announced Sesame GO – a new subscription service that provides an ad-free platform in-which kids can access a huge collection of full-length episodes on the go.
The service is powered by Kaltura MediaGo – an open source online video platform – providing a safe environment for children to enjoy the educational content from a mobile, tablet, laptop or desktop.
Scott Chambers, senior VP of Sesame Workshop, commented: “Sesame GO provides families with a unique experience we have never offered before – a secure, ad-free environment with full-length Sesame Street TV episodes they can watch anytime and anywhere.”
Along with current episodes of the show, users can also access a catalogue of classics along with episodes of an educations animated series, Pinky Dinky Doo.
Parents can subscribe to the service for $3.99 per month, or $29.99 a year from www.sesamego.com.
